The aim of this section is to provide you some interesting information. For instance a listing of common strings which should help to identify strings found on an instrument, or a glossary of violin-maker terms, that are not found in most dictionaries.
The - currently regretfully yet rather fragmentary present - texts regarding care for the instrument, possibilitis of modifying the playability ('action'), etc. (e.g. about the bridge) will hopefully be interesting for somebody. As for the whole site for these sections applies that since the english version is a translation of the german one, they are probably sometimes a little bit peculiar or funny and not always up to date.
Complements and corrections are of course welcome.
